Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nguyễn Phuc got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of MUvnFC booed when Viet Tri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Anh Hung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Phuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Phuc having to interfere. If Nguyễn Anh Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phan Binh was a little too slow when Đặng Duy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Anh Hung in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phan Phuc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lê Phuoc's late challenge caught a MUvnFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lê Phuoc helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Viet Tri's Lê Phuoc got a free kick in the 19th minute. MUvnFC's Nguyễn Phuc got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Phan Quang Thanh came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Viet Tri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phan Quang Thanh couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, MUvnFC's goalkeeper Phan Binh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phan Quang Thanh. Đào Thuyet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Phan Binh. MUvnFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Phan Binh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phan Quang Thanh in the 30th minute. In the 38th minute, Đặng Duy fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 39 played minutes MUvnFC got a freekick which was hit by Phan Thanh Bình. Nguyễn Thuy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Đặng Duy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phan Binh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Đặng Duy to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Phan Quang Thanh sped through MUvnFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Phan Binh. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Đặng Duy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viet Tri's supporters rose to their feet, but Đặng Duy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phan Binh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Viet Tri's Phan Quang Thanh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phan Binh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Đặng Duy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, MUvnFC's Nguyễn Anh Hung broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 82 minutes in the game, Nguyễn Anh Hung fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Phan Phuc having to interfere. Phan Phuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Phuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 86 in the game by Nguyễn Anh Hung from a close distance when the talented Phan Phuc managed to make a qualified save. Viet Tri's players were relieved. Nguyễn Huynh Duc's late challenge caught a Viet Tri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nguyễn Huynh Duc helped the player get up and apologised. Đặng Duy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phan Binh having to make a save. 92 minutes into the match, Viet Tri's goalkeeper Phan Phuc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Anh Hung. After 96 minutes of play, Viet Tri's Đặng Duy made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phan Binh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viet Tri's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
