When Trần Nghiêm-Minh came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Tuyen Quang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trần Nghiêm-Minh couldn't finish the play. Phan Phu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vũ Teo having to interfere. HK-Mobile's Vũ Teo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save HK-Mobile from getting a goal against them. Lê Binh might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trần Nguyet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lê Binh ran back to his position shaking his head. Phan Phu struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Vũ Teo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuyen Quang. In the 24th minute, Liễu Nga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Phan Phu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vũ Teo. HK-Mobile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Phan Phu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Trần Nguyet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Binh in the 37th minute of the match. Trần Nguyet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lê Binh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Nam during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, HK-Mobile's Nguyễn Nam got a free kick in the 44th minute. Phan Phu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Vũ Teo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Trần Nghiêm-Minh's late challenge caught a HK-Mobile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trần Nghiêm-Minh helped the player get up and apologised. Trần Nghiêm-Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. After 50 played minutes, HK-Mobile's Nguyễn Nam shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Trần Nguyet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HK-Mobile reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lê Binh made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lê Binh in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trần Nguyet saved Tuyen Quang from getting behind. Vũ Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phan Phu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phan Phu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phan Phu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vũ Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tuyen Quang's Trần Nguyet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Tuyen Quang from getting a goal against them. Vũ Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Loc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes, Phạm Nam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuyen Quang and the HK-Mobile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
