Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Trần Minh-ha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hoàng Diem 5 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Thuyet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hoàng Diem having to interfere. With a little luck, Jitrans's Hoàng Diem got control of the ball when Nguyễn Mai tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Mong Cai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tấn Dũng to maneuver through the defense. Hoàng Diem was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Trần Minh-ha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Trần Minh-ha really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Phùng Thai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jitrans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mong Cai the free kick. Hoàng Diem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Cuc went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Jitrans booed when Mong Cai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Tran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Mong Cai's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Thanh came free, but Chung Nhật Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trần Minh-ha had several of the Jitrans's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Hoàng Diem as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Mong Cai's zone, Nguyễn Thanh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chung Nhật Minh came out of the goal and Nguyễn Thanh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nguyễn Chi fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jitrans's protests and gave Nguyễn Chi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Jitrans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Chi to maneuver through the defense. Chung Nhật Minh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Thanh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The wind increased when Trần Minh-ha made the kick off in the second half. Hoàng Diem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Mai in the 51st minute of play. Nguyễn Mai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hoàng Diem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Teo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Mong Cai's Nguyễn Cuc in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Nguyễn Pham came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Jitrans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Pham couldn't finish the play. Hoàng Diem came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mong Cai's Trần Minh-ha. But to his dismay, Trần Minh-ha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Nguyễn Thuyet hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Jitrans's Nguyễn Chi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 77th minute, Dương Ritchell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Jitrans's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Minh-ha came free, but Hoàng Diem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hoàng Diem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Mai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nguyễn Thanh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mong Cai getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Nguyễn Thien hit a great ball. After 90 minutes, Nguyễn Thien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mong Cai and the Jitrans players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Mong Cai got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Thien. Jitrans's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nguyễn Chi in the 93rd minute. After taking down the ball on Jitrans's corner Nguyễn Chi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chung Nhật Minh quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Thanh in the 95th minute of play forced Mong Cai's goalkeeper Chung Nhật Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jitrans players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mong Cai.
