Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nguyễn Thanh Bình kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Lao Bao's Ngô Ritchell got control of the ball when Chung Chung tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ha Dong's Nguyễn Lam got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8thth minute of the game Nguyễn Lam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lao Bao's Ngô Ritchell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chung Chung didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 12th minute. Ha Dong's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 16 minutes into the match, Ha Dong's Nguyễn Lam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ngô Ritchell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ngô Ritchell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nguyễn Lam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Nguyễn Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ngô Ritchell made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Chung Chung sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Lam in the 29th minute of play forced Lao Bao's goalkeeper Ngô Ritchell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chung Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Lam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ngô Ritchell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chung Chungs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Ngô Ritchell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Trần Hoang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ngô Ritchell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Chung Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Ritchell notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Lao Bao's Ngô Ritchell. Ngô Ritchell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nguyễn Lam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nguyễn Lam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ngô Ritchell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ha Dong's Nguyễn Lam in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lao Bao's goalie prevented a goal. Lao Bao's Ngô Ritchell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chung Chung in the 60th minute of play. When Phan Thuy fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lao Bao's protests and gave Phan Thuy a yellow card for diving instead. Nguyễn Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Nguyễn Ritchell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ngô Ritchell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Thanh Bình fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Tho having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Ha Dong's goal looked a bit too open when Phan Thuy came free, but Phạm Tho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ngô Ritchell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chung Chung, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Lam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ngô Ritchell. Lao Bao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Lam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Nguyễn Lam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ngô Ritchell having to interfere. Ngô Ritchell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chung Chung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Nguyễn Lam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ngô Ritchell was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ngô Ritchell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Lam's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Lam in the 97th minute of play forced Lao Bao's goalkeeper Ngô Ritchell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Ha Dong players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
