Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Phuoc started the match with the kick off. If Lê Dinh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nghiêm Cong Vinh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Dinh in the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mong Cai defense, Lê Tan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nghiêm Cong Vinh. The Mong Cai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nghiêm Cong Vinh should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Lê Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lê Dinh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lê Dinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Nghiêm Cong Vinh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mong Cai getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nguyễn Phuoc hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mong Cai's zone, Lê Dinh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nghiêm Cong Vinh came out of the goal and Lê Dinh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lê Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nghiêm Cong Vinh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nghiêm Cong Vinh came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by dong a thanh hoa's Lê Tan. But to his dismay, Lê Tan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Lê Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Dinh did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Nghiêm Cong Vinh 29 minutes into the match. Lê Tan in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nghiêm Cong Vinh, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lê Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Nghiêm Cong Vinh made a huge save. When dong a thanh hoa's Lê Dinh in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mong Cai's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of dong a thanh hoa booed when Mong Cai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Phuoc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lê Dinh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Lê Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd match minute, dong a thanh hoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Diem to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Lê Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lê Dinh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lê Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. dong a thanh hoa's Lê Dinh got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Phuoc hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Minh Phượng took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nghiêm Cong Vinh. Mong Cai's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Mong Cai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Phuoc to maneuver through the defense. Lê Tan scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nghiêm Cong Vinh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lê Dinh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Nguyễn Phuoc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mong Cai's Nghiêm Cong Vinh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Tan in the 88th minute of play. Lê Tan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nghiêm Cong Vinh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for dong a thanh hoa. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. dong a thanh hoa had played much better football throughout.
