Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) NAST FLC's Trần Thuy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lê Thanh during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Thua Thien-Hue got a freekick which was hit by Lê Thanh. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang shot from long distance in the 11th minute, but Dương Minh Phượng was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After 13 minutes, Lê Hung mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NAST FLC and the Thua Thien-Hue players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes NAST FLC got a freekick which was hit by Lê Hung. 2-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Trần Thuy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thua Thien-Hue's Nguyễn Loc got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to NAST FLC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes Thua Thien-Hue got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Dinh. In the 25thth minute of the game Nguyễn Dinh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NAST FLC's Bùi Dung was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Thua Thien-Hue's Nguyễn Dinh in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NAST FLC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Thua Thien-Hue's Dương Minh Phượng got control of the ball when Tôn Bay tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th match minute, NAST FLC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Lien to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Dinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bùi Dung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Dinh in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bùi Dung prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nguyễn Teo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Thua Thien-Hue's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Trần Thuy 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nguyễn Dinh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Dinh in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bùi Dung saved NAST FLC from getting behind. A long shot from Lê Thanh in the 55th minute of play was well struck, but Bùi Dung made a really good save at the right post. After 56 minutes of play NAST FLC's Lê Hung was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nguyễn Loc shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Nguyễn Huỳnh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Nguyễn Dinh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thua Thien-Hue's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Dinh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bùi Dung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tôn Bay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dương Minh Phượng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bùi Dung didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Dinh went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Võ Phuc took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bùi Dung. NAST FLC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Nguyễn Loc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tôn Bay succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. In the 76th match minute, NAST FLC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tuan Hoang to maneuver through the defense. Võ Phuc took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bùi Dung. NAST FLC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st minute Nguyễn Dinh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bùi Dung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Loc might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bùi Dung. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Loc ran back to his position shaking his head. NAST FLC's Bùi Dung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Dinh in the 87th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, NAST FLC's goalkeeper Bùi Dung had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Dinh. A collision led to NAST FLC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Dinh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thua Thien-Hue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NAST FLC the free kick. A collision led to Thua Thien-Hue getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Nguyễn Dinh hit a great ball. NAST FLC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
