Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Huỳnh Nam started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Tho in the 5th minute of play forced Ha Tinh's goalkeeper Nguyễn Ho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Nhật Minh came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ha Tinh's Nguyễn Hoang. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Hoang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tran Fc's zone, Phùng Nam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Nhật Minh came out of the goal and Phùng Nam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ha Tinh's Nguyễn Hoang got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Tran Fc's goalkeeper Nguyễn Nhật Minh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Thai. Nguyễn Hoang struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nguyễn Nhật Minh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ha Tinh. Nguyễn Hoang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nguyễn Nhật Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tran Fc's Nguyễn Nhật Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phùng Nam in the 41st minute of play. Nguyễn Hoang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Nhật Minh having to interfere. Nguyễn Ho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Tho in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Phùng Nam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Ha Tinh's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Huỳnh Nam fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Trịnh Ho hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Trần Huynh Duc charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Trần Huynh Duc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Trần Huynh Duc hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Hoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nguyễn Hoang came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ha Tinh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Hoang couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Ho made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Trần Tho sent off a good shot on target. Phan Ritchell's late challenge caught a Ha Tinh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phan Ritchell helped the player get up and apologised. Phùng Nam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nguyễn Nhật Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Nhật Minh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Hoang, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Lê Tuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Trần Tho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Ha Tinh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
