After a rather tough play, Ha Noi City FC's Hoàng Tong got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Trương Minh Phượng kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phan Cuc got free with Võ Khoi in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Bộ Tứ Siêu Quậy FC's goalkeeper Võ Khoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phan Cuc. After some careless play in the Ha Noi City FC defense, Phạm Quang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phan Duc. The Ha Noi City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phan Duc should have stopped the shot. Phan Cuc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Võ Khoi made a huge save. Phan Duc came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Bộ Tứ Siêu Quậy FC's Phạm Quang. But to his dismay, Phạm Quang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phạm Quang during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Phạm Quang hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Trần Ho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Ha Noi City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Phạm Quang came free, but Phan Duc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Phan Duc made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Phạm Quang sent off a good shot on target. Phan Duc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trần Ho in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Ha Noi City FC's Phan Duc got control of the ball when Phạm Quang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ha Noi City FC's Phan Duc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ha Noi City FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dương Thanh Bình during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Ha Noi City FC got a freekick which was hit by Dương Thanh Bình. 66 minutes into the match, Ha Noi City FC's goalkeeper Phan Duc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phạm Quang. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phan Cuc in the 72nd minute of play forced Bộ Tứ Siêu Quậy FC's goalkeeper Võ Khoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Ha Noi City FC got a freekick which was hit by Lưu Hoai. After recieving a nice pass, Bộ Tứ Siêu Quậy FC's Phạm Huỳnh tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Ha Noi City FC's goalkeeper Phan Duc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phạm Quang. Ha Noi City FC's Phan Duc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ha Noi City FC from getting a goal against them. If Hoàng Tong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bộ Tứ Siêu Quậy FC played a much better game than Ha Noi City FC and deserved their victory. The Ha Noi City FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
