Phan Duc made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Nguyễn Mai sent off a good shot on target. Hoàng Than's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phan Duc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Huỳnh Minh Phượng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hoàng Tong went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Ha Noi City FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lê Tan hit a great ball. Phan Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Huỳnh Minh Phượng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phan Duc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Mai in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Lưu Hoai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Nguyễn Mai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Binh Duong fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hoàng Tong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Huỳnh Minh Phượng having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Binh Duong's Đặng Chi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Lê Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee gave Ha Noi City FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. Binh Duong's Huỳnh Minh Phượng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Binh Duong from getting a goal against them. Huỳnh Minh Phượng made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Phan Cuc sent off a good shot on target. After 68 minutes of play, Binh Duong's Trần Lien made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phan Cuc got free with Huỳnh Minh Phượng in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Phan Duc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Lien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ha Noi City FC defense, Nguyễn Mai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phan Duc. The Ha Noi City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phan Duc should have stopped the shot. After having played for 84 minutes, Vũ Than managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ha Noi City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vũ Than was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Huỳnh Minh Phượng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phan Cuc in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, Binh Duong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Lien to maneuver through the defense. Phan Cuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ha Noi City FC's Vũ Than slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Huỳnh Minh Phượng. That made the score 4-4 after 91 minutes of play. Huỳnh Minh Phượng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hoàng Tong, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Lê Tan hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Hoàng Than charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hoàng Than the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hoàng Than hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Ha Noi City FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Binh Duong from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
