Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nguyễn Duong took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Xuan in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lê Bien saved Cao Lanh from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Trần Tuan Hoang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cao Lanh's supporters rose to their feet, but Trần Tuan Hoang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trần Bay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Duong in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trần Bay saved Hai Duong from getting behind. Nguyễn Duong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trần Bay having to make a save. If Nguyễn Duong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phạm Bay hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Duong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Bay having to interfere. Trần Bay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trần Tuan Hoang in the 32nd minute. Hai Duong's Trần Bay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Duong in the 40th minute of play. Nguyễn Khoi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Trần Tuan Hoang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Bay having to interfere.
Trần Bay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Duong in the 54th minute of the match. Trần Tuan Hoang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trần Bay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Duong in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Nguyễn Duong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cao Lanh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 64th minute, Phạm Bay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trần Bay was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Nguyễn Xuan's late challenge caught a Hai Duong's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nguyễn Xuan helped the player get up and apologised. 68 minutes into the match, Cao Lanh's goal looked a bit too open when Hoàng Chung came free, but Lê Bien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nguyễn Duong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Bay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Tuan Hoang in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Trần Tuan Hoang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trần Bay was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Trần Tuan Hoang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trần Bay. Hai Duong's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trần Tuan Hoang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After having played for 84 minutes, Trần Tuan Hoang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cao Lanh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trần Tuan Hoang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Trần Tuan Hoang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trần Bay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Tuan Hoang in the 97th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cao Lanh had played much better football throughout.
