Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Thien started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Ritchell during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hải Dương getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Nguyễn Ritchell hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the game, Lang Son's Bùi Loc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ngô Mai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bùi Loc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hải Dương's zone, Nguyễn Thien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ngô Mai came out of the goal and Nguyễn Thien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Văn Liem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Loc took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Đặng Liem. Lang Son's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Nguyễn Thien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hải Dương's Ngô Mai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hải Dương's Lý Van Tai Em in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lang Son's goalie prevented a goal. Bùi Loc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ngô Mai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nguyễn Thien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Nguyễn Thien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 46 in the game by Bùi Loc from a close distance when the talented Ngô Mai managed to make a qualified save. Hải Dương's players were relieved. Hải Dương's Ngô Mai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Hải Dương from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
53 minutes into the match, Hải Dương's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Thien came free, but Ngô Mai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hải Dương's Ngô Mai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Thien in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Lý Van Tai Em was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hải Dương's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lang Son the free kick. Nguyễn Ritchell hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Ritchell was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nguyễn Ritchell kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With his leg Đặng Liem managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Hải Dương's Văn Liem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 68 minutes of play, Lang Son's Nguyễn Thien made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ngô Mai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ngô Mai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Thien went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 76 minutes, Văn Liem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hải Dương's supporters crossed their fingers, but Văn Liem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hải Dương fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Nguyễn Duc placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Bùi Loc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Văn Liem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hải Dương's Nguyễn Nam shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Đặng Liem but with some difficulty. Ngô Mai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bùi Loc, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Bùi Loc put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ngô Mai. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lang Son fully deserved thier win.
