Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Hoai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sam Son b's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PleiKu the free kick. After 7 played minutes Sam Son b got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Hoai. A collision led to Sam Son b getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Đoàn Quang Thanh hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, PleiKu's Hoàng Hong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nguyễn Duc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. La Diem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nguyễn Hung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Đoàn Quang Thanh hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Duc came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by PleiKu's Huỳnh Lien. But to his dismay, Huỳnh Lien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hoàng Hong struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Nguyễn Duc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PleiKu. La Diem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nguyễn Hung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Diem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Huỳnh Lien made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sam Son b's La Diem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Hung narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Hoàng Hong managed to get in a good position for a shot. PleiKu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hoàng Hong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Duc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When PleiKu's Huỳnh Lien in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sam Son b's goalie prevented a goal. If Huỳnh Lien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that La Diem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Hung was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Nguyễn Hung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hoàng Duy, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PleiKu's zone, Hoàng Duy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Hung came out of the goal and Hoàng Duy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 played minutes Sam Son b got a freekick which was hit by Hoàng Nghiêm-Minh. When Hoàng Duy came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Sam Son b fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hoàng Duy couldn't finish the play. La Diem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Hung having to make a save. Nguyễn Hung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from La Diem, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Lê Minh Phượng kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Hoàng Duy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Hung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as PleiKu's Huỳnh Lien slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nguyễn Duc. That made the score 0-3 after 87 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, PleiKu's Nguyễn Duc threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Huỳnh Lien, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nguyễn Duc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huỳnh Lien in the 93rd minute of the match. Huỳnh Lien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PleiKu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
