Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Phan Diem took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lê Pham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Minh having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tuyen Quang's Nguyễn Tuyet got a free kick in the 4th minute. Nguyễn Viet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phan Diem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nguyễn Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Viet struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Nguyễn Nguyet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuyen Quang. In the 26th minute, Nguyễn Viet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hồ Nam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Nguyễn Nguyet made a huge save. A collision led to Ha Dong getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nguyễn Thanh hit a great ball. Nguyễn Viet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Ngô Minh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuyen Quang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ha Dong the free kick. In the 42nd minute, one of Tuyen Quang:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tuyen Quang. Nguyễn Thanh walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Hồ Nam hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nguyễn Viet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Viet in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Nguyet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the match, Ha Dong's goal looked a bit too open when Hồ Nam came free, but Nguyễn Nguyet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mai Huynh Duc kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Nguyễn Thanh sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tuyen Quang's Nguyễn Minh didn't even have to move. In the 68th minute, Nguyễn Viet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nguyễn Viet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Phan Diem came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ha Dong fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phan Diem couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Hồ Nam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuyen Quang's supporters rose to their feet, but Hồ Nam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Nguyet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nguyễn Nguyet came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tuyen Quang's Nguyễn Viet. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Viet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Nguyễn Viet came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Tuyen Quang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Viet couldn't finish the play. Phan Diem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Nguyễn Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Minh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phan Diem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
