Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Huỳnh Tấn Dũng started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes in the game, Nguyễn Hoai fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hoàng Thanh having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Võ Nam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phu Ly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Võ Nam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nha Trang's Huỳnh Tấn Dũng in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phu Ly's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute, Nha Trang's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Võ Nam fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nguyễn Hoai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hoàng Thanh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Nha Trang's Huỳnh Tấn Dũng made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nguyễn Teo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nguyễn Hoai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hoàng Thanh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Huỳnh Tấn Dũng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phu Ly's goalkeeper Nguyễn Teo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nguyễn Hoai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hoàng Thanh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Nguyễn Hoai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoàng Thanh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Huỳnh Tấn Dũng in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nguyễn Teo saved Phu Ly from getting behind. If Nguyễn Lien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lương Pham kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Nha Trang's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nguyễn Tuan in the 50th minute.
54 minutes into the match, Phu Ly's Võ Nam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hoàng Thanh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Phu Ly's Võ Nam got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Võ Nam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoàng Thanh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Phu Ly getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lương Pham hit a great ball. Huỳnh Tấn Dũng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Teo having to interfere. In the 79th minute Võ Nam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoàng Thanh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hoàng Thanh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Hoai in the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Phu Ly's Nguyễn Teo got control of the ball when Huỳnh Tấn Dũng tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hoàng Thanh came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Phu Ly's Võ Nam. But to his dismay, Võ Nam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Võ Nam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hoàng Thanh having to interfere. Phu Ly were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nha Trang for a fine match.
