Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nguyễn Hoai made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Ha Giang's Trần Hung got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Lê Dung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Võ Nam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Phu Ly's zone, Trần Hung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Teo came out of the goal and Trần Hung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th match minute, Phu Ly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tuyet to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Trần Hung took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nguyễn Teo to make any attempt to save it. After 15 minutes, Nguyễn Dong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phu Ly and the Ha Giang players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Phu Ly's Nguyễn Dong got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Nguyễn Hoai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phu Ly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Hoai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lê Dung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Tuyet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Tuyet hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Hoàng Viet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Nguyễn Teo made a huge save. Lê Dung came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Phu Ly's Võ Nam. But to his dismay, Võ Nam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lê Tuan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Nguyễn Hoai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ha Giang's Lê Dung was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Hoàng Viet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ha Giang's supporters rose to their feet, but Hoàng Viet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Teo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Phu Ly booed when Ha Giang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huỳnh Ho didn't get a good kick on the ball.
Nguyễn Hoai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Dung having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Võ Nam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phu Ly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Võ Nam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Nguyễn Hoai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 played minutes Ha Giang got a freekick which was hit by Trần Hung. Trần Hung's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Teo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Huỳnh Ho's late challenge caught a Phu Ly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huỳnh Ho helped the player get up and apologised. Huỳnh Ho hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Chung Quang came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Phu Ly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chung Quang couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Triệu Duong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Võ Nam struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Lê Dung didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phu Ly. If Trần Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes, Tạ Lien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phu Ly and the Ha Giang players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Phu Ly getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Tạ Lien hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes, Ha Giang's Huỳnh Ho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nguyễn Teo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ha Giang reached it. Ha Giang's Hoàng Viet got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Hoai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lê Dung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phu Ly's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
