If Nguyễn Nam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hồ Hung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mai Minh Phượng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buon Ma Thuot's Nguyễn Chung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Duc in the 86th minute of play. In the last second Mai Minh Phượng throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hồ Hung in the 88thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Nguyễn Chung stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Duc's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Nguyễn Duc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nguyễn Chung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
