Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nguyễn Loc made the kick off which started today's match. In the 14th match minute, Mong Cai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Dung to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Ho in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nghiêm Cadeo saved Mong Cai from getting behind. Nghiêm Cadeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Ho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Nguyễn Ho came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Da Nang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Ho couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Ho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nghiêm Cadeo having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Chung was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mong Cai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Da Nang the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Nguyễn Ho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Ho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nghiêm Cadeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Hung had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nghiêm Cadeo. Mong Cai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Hung was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phạm Binh during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Da Nang getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Phạm Binh hit a great ball. If Nguyễn Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Trương Van Tai Em received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nghiêm Cadeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Da Nang's Lê Tran got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Nguyễn Ho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Da Nang's Nguyễn Van Tai Em shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nghiêm Cadeo but with some difficulty. Nguyễn Ho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nghiêm Cadeo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Nguyễn Ho struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nghiêm Cadeo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Da Nang. Trương Van Tai Em received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nghiêm Cadeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Mong Cai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vũ Cadeo to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Trương Van Tai Em had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nghiêm Cadeo. Trương Van Tai Em recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nguyễn Ho came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Da Nang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Ho couldn't finish the play.
