Trần Thanh Bình made a great header on Cau Hai's corner, it was just that Choban FC's Nguyễn Chi managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Cau Hai booed when Choban FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hoàng Duy didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Trần Thanh Bình quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Choban FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Nguyễn Lien hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes, Cau Hai's Lê Thai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nguyễn Chi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cau Hai reached it. Trần Thuy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nguyễn Chi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
