Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nguyễn Tong took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Tong in the 8th minute of play forced Dak Lak's goalkeeper Nguyễn Tu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lê Hoang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lê Tu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Viet in the 14th minute of play forced Trang Bang's goalkeeper Lê Hoang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Dak Lak's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Teo came free, but Nguyễn Tu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Trần Teo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trang Bang's protests and gave Trần Teo a yellow card for diving instead. Trần Teo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Lê Tu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Hoang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trang Bang's Lê Hoang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Tu in the 24th minute of play. Lê Hoang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lê Tu went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th match minute, Dak Lak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Minh-ha to maneuver through the defense. If Lê Tu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Lê Tu in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Lê Hoang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lê Tu went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Lê Tu made the kick off in the second half. Dak Lak's Nguyễn Tu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Thi Ngoc in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Trang Bang booed when Dak Lak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Minh-ha didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nguyễn Tong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, one of Dak Lak:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dak Lak. Trang Bang's Nguyễn Tong got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nguyễn Tong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Nguyễn Tong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Lê Tu lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Lê Hoang. Nguyễn Tong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nguyễn Tu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Trần Teo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trang Bang's goalkeeper Lê Hoang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chung Hieu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dak Lak walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
