Trang Bang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Tong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Crazy Man's goalkeeper Nguyễn Minh-ha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trang Bang's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
