Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bùi Anh Hung kicked off to start the match. Võ Tan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bùi Anh Hung showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Võ Tan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bùi Anh Hung's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Minh during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Binh Dinh got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Minh. After having played for 15 minutes, Nguyễn Than managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kim Lien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Than was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Đặng Chi in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Bronkala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Huỳnh Dung kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Kim Lien's Phạm Phu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Võ Tan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kim Lien reached it. Iwan Bronkala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Cadeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Kim Lien's Bùi Anh Hung ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Võ Tan. Võ Tan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Đặng Hong Minh's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Võ Tan firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by La Hung in the 36th minute of play forced Kim Lien's goalkeeper Iwan Bronkala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Cadeo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Binh Dinh's Võ Tan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Binh Dinh from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Đặng Chi to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Phạm Phu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kim Lien's supporters rose to their feet, but Phạm Phu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Võ Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Iwan Bronkala successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Đặng Chi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Iwan Bronkala made a huge save. Đặng Hong Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Võ Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Binh Dinh getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nguyễn Cadeo hit a great ball. Iwan Bronkala made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when La Hung sent off a good shot on target. After 63 minutes, Võ Thanh Bình mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kim Lien and the Binh Dinh players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Kim Lien:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Binh Dinh:s goal. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Binh Dinh. Nguyễn Pham stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iwan Bronkala. 2-1. Nguyễn Liem charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Liem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Binh Dinh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Liem to maneuver through the defense. Kim Lien's Nguyễn Khoi was substituted for Nguyễn Than. After 68 played minutes Binh Dinh got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Liem. When Kim Lien's Bùi Anh Hung in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Binh Dinh's goalie prevented a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Cadeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Binh Dinh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kim Lien the free kick. Đặng Chi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Bronkala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bùi Anh Hung in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Võ Tan saved Binh Dinh from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Kim Lien's zone, Đặng Chi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Bronkala came out of the goal and Đặng Chi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Kim Lien booed when Binh Dinh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Liem didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bùi Anh Hung in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Võ Tan saved Binh Dinh from getting behind. Iwan Bronkala made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when La Hung sent off a good shot on target. Kim Lien's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
