The tension between the Kim Lien and the MASEW players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hoàng Than hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Lý Than kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Phạm Lan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dương Liem showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dương Liem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bùi Anh Hung went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, Nguyễn Than ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dương Liem was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 30 minutes into the game, Lý Than was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MASEW's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kim Lien the free kick. The supporters of Kim Lien booed when MASEW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lý Than didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phạm Lan, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of MASEW booed when Kim Lien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Tuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lê Nhật Minh was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. Mai Thuy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Iwan Bronkala made a huge save. Bùi Anh Hung scored 1-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dương Liem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute Mai Thuy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Bronkala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Than notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of MASEW's Dương Liem. Dương Liem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nguyễn Chuong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Iwan Bronkala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
