Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nguyễn Duong started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nguyễn Teo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dương Lan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Trần Bay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bùi Hoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Cuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Cuc took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bùi Hoa. Bùi Hoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 19 minutes of play, PhuTho's Trần Bay made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bùi Hoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 25 played minutes Cam Ranh got a freekick which was hit by Huỳnh Tu. Dương Lan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Duong in the 27th minute of the match. Nguyễn Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bùi Hoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cam Ranh's Lê Nam got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th match minute, PhuTho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Hoai to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Khoi, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nguyễn Teo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Nguyễn Teo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dương Lan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trần Bay was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Cam Ranh got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Duong. Phạm Tran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dương Lan having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Cam Ranh's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Bay came free, but Bùi Hoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Nguyễn Duong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Duong took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dương Lan. Dương Lan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Nguyễn Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bùi Hoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dương Lan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Teo in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Nguyễn Cuc managed to get in a good position for a shot. PhuTho's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Cuc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bùi Hoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
