Lê Binh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lý Lam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 15th playminute. 18 minutes into the match, Van Don Port's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Mai came free, but Lê Nga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Hồ Hoai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Nga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lý Lam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Binh having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Lê Nga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute, Nguyễn Huy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bien Hoa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Lê Nga made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Nguyễn Huy sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes of play, Bien Hoa's Nguyễn Huy made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lê Nga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hồ Hoai took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lê Nga. Lê Nga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When Huỳnh Hoang fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Van Don Port's protests and gave Huỳnh Hoang a yellow card for diving instead. Huỳnh Hoang kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Mai in the 61st minute of play forced Van Don Port's goalkeeper Lê Nga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Van Don Port's Lê Nga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hồ Hoai in the 62nd minute of play. Hồ Hoai hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Lý Lam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lê Binh made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lý Lam in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lê Binh saved Bien Hoa from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Lý Lam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Van Don Port's supporters rose to their feet, but Lý Lam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lê Binh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bien Hoa's Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh got a free kick in the 76th minute. Bien Hoa's Hồ Hoai got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Hồ Hoai off the ground. In the 78th match minute, Bien Hoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hồ Hoai to maneuver through the defense. Lý Lam took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lê Binh. Lê Binh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Lê Binh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lý Lam's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Van Don Port's Lý Lam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lê Binh narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
