Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Trần Cong Vinh took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Cao Xanh FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Nguyễn Hoai hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Cao Xanh FC defense, Trần Chuong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bùi Phuoc. The Cao Xanh FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bùi Phuoc should have stopped the shot. Lê Van Tai Em got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Trần Chuong. When Phan Tu fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchesterunited's protests and gave Phan Tu a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Manchesterunited got a freekick which was hit by Phan Tu. In the 16th match minute, Manchesterunited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lý Mai to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Cao Xanh FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nguyễn Hoai hit a great ball. With a little luck, Cao Xanh FC's Bùi Phuoc got control of the ball when Phan Tu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Bùi Phuoc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Trần Chuong hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cao Xanh FC's Bùi Phuoc got control of the ball when Trần Chuong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cao Xanh FC's Bùi Phuoc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phan Tu in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Trần Chuong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bùi Phuoc was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Hoàng Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Trần Cong Vinh sped through Manchesterunited's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bùi Thanh. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hoàng Tan to strike the kick off in the second half. Trần Cong Vinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bùi Thanh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phan Thai was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Cao Xanh FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Trần Cong Vinh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bùi Thanh was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The supporters of Cao Xanh FC booed when Manchesterunited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Ritchell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Hoàng Tan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Trần Cong Vinh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bùi Thanh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. With his leg Bùi Thanh managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Cao Xanh FC's Trần Cong Vinh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 74th minute Hoàng Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bùi Phuoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cao Xanh FC's Trần Cong Vinh in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bùi Thanh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Trần Cong Vinh in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bùi Thanh, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 92 minutes into the match, Trần Chuong notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Cao Xanh FC's Bùi Phuoc. Bùi Phuoc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Nguyễn Diem in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cao Xanh FC's Nguyễn Minh. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manchesterunited fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cao Xanh FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
