The supporters of Paignton FC booed when Stockton-on-Tees was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prime Lee didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Wei Xuan Ching sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniz Butcher skillfully saved the ball. Gage Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Daniz Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes, Prime Lee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockton-on-Tees and the Paignton FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prime Lee hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Gage Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniz Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniz Butcher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gage Chan went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Stockton-on-Tees getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Victor Namasivayam hit a great ball. The supporters of Stockton-on-Tees booed when Paignton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarb Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faris Hock kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Dale Tee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Lim having to interfere. Daniz Butcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gage Chan in the 27th minute of play. After 29 played minutes, Paignton FC's Wei Xuan Ching shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniz Butcher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paignton FC reached it. After having played for 31 minutes, Sarb Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paignton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarb Yang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Gage Chan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Stockton-on-Tees's Daniz Butcher. Daniz Butcher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Gage Chan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniz Butcher was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Tian in the 38th minute of play forced Stockton-on-Tees's goalkeeper Daniz Butcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniz Butcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gage Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Danial Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gage Chan struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Daniz Butcher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paignton FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gage Chan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Stockton-on-Tees's goalkeeper Daniz Butcher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danial Tian. Daniz Butcher made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Danial Tian sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Stockton-on-Tees's Victor Namasivayam got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Gage Chan came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Paignton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gage Chan couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Victor Namasivayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Daniz Butcher managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Paignton FC's Danial Tian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Danial Tian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Daniz Butcher made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Famih Braddell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniz Butcher. Stockton-on-Tees's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Famih Braddell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Stockton-on-Tees's Dale Tee got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gage Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danial Tian got free with Daniz Butcher in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Famih Braddell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danial Tian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Daniz Butcher made a huge save. Gage Chan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniz Butcher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Danial Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paignton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Danial Tian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniz Butcher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sarb Nagasaki's late challenge caught a Stockton-on-Tees's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sarb Nagasaki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Paignton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarb Nagasaki to maneuver through the defense. Paignton FC's Sarb Yang got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danial Tian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Daniz Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paignton FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
