Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Daniz Teo made the kick off and thus started the match. Khairil Sarangapani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 minutes, Danial Pieng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morpeth and the Slough AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Danial Pieng hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Slough AFC's Hidayat Sum in action when he in the 8th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Slough AFC's Khairil Sarangapani in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morpeth's goalie prevented a goal. When Mohammad Shiong fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morpeth's protests and gave Mohammad Shiong a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniz Teo in the 15th minute of play forced Slough AFC's goalkeeper Afriz Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Morpeth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azli Ramachandran to maneuver through the defense. When Shukrie Tan fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morpeth's protests and gave Shukrie Tan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Morpeth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shukrie Tan to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Morpeth's Afriz Seng threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniz Teo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morpeth's goalkeeper Hidayat Seah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniz Teo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afriz Seng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Hidayat Seah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Sarangapani, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ang Keng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hidayat Seah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slough AFC's Afriz Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniz Teo in the 37th minute of play. Afriz Seng made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Shukrie Tan sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khairil Sarangapani made a kick off. After some careless play in the Slough AFC defense, Shukrie Tan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afriz Seng. The Slough AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afriz Seng should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Morpeth getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Azli Ramachandran hit a great ball. Afriz Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniz Teo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afriz Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shukrie Tan in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerard Lam during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Slough AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gerard Lam hit a great ball. Afriz Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shukrie Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ang Keng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hidayat Seah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. When Mohammad Shiong was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Mohammad Shiong kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Slough AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron Sarangapani to maneuver through the defense. Ang Keng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Morpeth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Khairil Sarangapani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Morpeth fans cheered their team off the field, for while Slough AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
