Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tan Hock took the kick off in the first half of the match. Noh Sarangapani hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Hafriz Ning came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Caversham FC's Bakar Chan. But to his dismay, Bakar Chan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tan Hock scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hafriz Ning, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hafriz Ning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tan Hock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noh Sarangapani charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noh Sarangapani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Whitehaven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noh Sarangapani to maneuver through the defense. With 22 minutes on the clock, Arif Koh commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Whitehaven! Whitehaven's Hafriz Ning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tan Hock in the 28th minute of play. When Caversham FC's Tan Hock in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Whitehaven's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Caversham FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Whitehaven's zone, Bakar Chan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hafriz Ning came out of the goal and Bakar Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hafriz Ning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tan Hock in the 56th minute. Firdauz Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Afriz Chai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hafriz Ning. That made the score 0-4 in the 71 minute of play. Whitehaven's Hafriz Ning proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Whitehaven from getting a goal against them. Tan Hock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hafriz Ning having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Whitehaven's Firdauz Lee got a free kick in the 95th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Whitehaven's goalkeeper Hafriz Ning had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tan Hock.
