Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Azli Dryburgh took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Abbey Wood's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Tan came free, but Arif Dhanabalan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arif Dhanabalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Hoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Afiq Low had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Exmouth's Zack Chew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afiq Low in the 17th minute of play. When Amir Hoe came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Exmouth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amir Hoe couldn't finish the play. Afiq Low fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Chew having to interfere. When Azli Dryburgh, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zack Chew was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Zack Chew made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Azli Dryburgh sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lee Tan in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Dhanabalan saved Abbey Wood from getting behind. The supporters of Exmouth booed when Abbey Wood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Sim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Azli Dryburgh came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zack Chew could save by the left post. Exmouth's Albert Hian got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Abbey Wood getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bineesh Peng hit a great ball. Shahron Dyce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arif Dhanabalan. Abbey Wood's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Exmouth's Amir Hoe in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abbey Wood's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Exmouth booed when Abbey Wood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarb Chong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Dhanabalan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee Tan in the 45th minute of the match. If Afiq Low had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amir Hoe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lee Tan scored 0-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arif Dhanabalan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arif Dhanabalan was a little too slow when Amir Hoe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. After some careless play in the Exmouth defense, Afiq Low kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zack Chew. The Exmouth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zack Chew should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Rifki Hoe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zack Chew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azli Dryburgh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zack Chew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azli Dryburgh in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afiq Low in the 80th minute of play forced Exmouth's goalkeeper Zack Chew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lee Tan came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arif Dhanabalan could save by the left post. Arif Dhanabalan was a little too slow when Amir Hoe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-3.
