In the 8th minute, Jerome Hardy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kris Knight showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from SK Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Farhan Politiek came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Sanskrit FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Farhan Politiek couldn't finish the play. After 26 played minutes Ebley United got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Hawke. In the 31st minute, Jerome Hardy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Keith Gold left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ebley United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ali Yi-Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerome Hardy in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keith Gold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amir Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Jerome Hardy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ebley United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerome Hardy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sanskrit FC's Ali Yi-Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith Gold in the 56th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Sanskrit FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Yi-Sheng. Alif Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Alfred Davey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sanskrit FC's goalkeeper Ali Yi-Sheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Ebley United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sanskrit FC throughout the match.
