Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amir Hoe got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Exmouth getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Faizal Yi-Sheng hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes Exmouth got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Politiek. When Albert Hian came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Exmouth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Hian couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Sanskrit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Hoe came free, but Ali Yi-Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amir Hoe had several of the Sanskrit FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ali Yi-Sheng as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Amir Hoe took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ali Yi-Sheng to make any attempt to save it. After 23 minutes, Jithu Seng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sanskrit FC and the Exmouth players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sanskrit FC's Jithu Seng got a free kick in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sean Laycock during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Sanskrit FC got a freekick which was hit by Sean Laycock. In the 28th minute Amir Hoe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Yi-Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Amir Dyce shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zack Chew showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lee Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Yi-Sheng having to interfere. Ali Yi-Sheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amir Hoe's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Exmouth's Amir Hoe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Yi-Sheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Amir Hoe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Exmouth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amir Hoe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amir Hoe in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Yi-Sheng saved Sanskrit FC from getting behind. When Sean Laycock was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. A collision led to Sanskrit FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sean Laycock hit a great ball. Lee Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Sanskrit FC's zone, Albert Hian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Yi-Sheng came out of the goal and Albert Hian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amir Hoe in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Yi-Sheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Lee Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Exmouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Lee Tan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Yi-Sheng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Yi-Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amir Hoe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Yi-Sheng having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darren Ching during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Exmouth's Darren Ching got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Farhan Politiek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farhan Politiek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zack Chew read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Ali Yi-Sheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amir Hoe's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After 73 minutes, Amir Hoe made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sanskrit FC's Ali Yi-Sheng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Yi-Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Hoe in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Tan in the 80th minute of play forced Sanskrit FC's goalkeeper Ali Yi-Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lee Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Yi-Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Exmouth's Amir Hoe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Yi-Sheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ali Yi-Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Exmouth fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Exmouth's Amir Hoe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ali Yi-Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amir Hoe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sanskrit FC defense, Lee Tan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Yi-Sheng. The Sanskrit FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Yi-Sheng should have stopped the shot.
