Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alex Keng made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes, Amirul Hock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golders Green and the Docklands United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Golders Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amirul Hock to maneuver through the defense. Bob Scholes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Zafran Hoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bob Scholes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basil Beadel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Adam Inman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Scholes in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zafran Hoe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amirul Hock hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Bob Scholes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zafran Hoe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basil Beadel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zafran Hoe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basil Beadel in the 31st minute of play. Seth Fleming took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zafran Hoe. Golders Green's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basil Beadel in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zafran Hoe saved Golders Green from getting behind. Docklands United's Adam Inman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Docklands United from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basil Beadel was the one to do the kick off. Adam Inman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Keng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Afriz Shyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golders Green's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Docklands United the free kick. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Golders Green! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Docklands United. Seth Fleming stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zafran Hoe. 0-1. The supporters of Docklands United booed when Golders Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Chien-Kwan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Bob Scholes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Docklands United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Scholes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basil Beadel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zafran Hoe having to interfere. Bob Scholes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basil Beadel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zafran Hoe having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Docklands United's Basil Beadel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zafran Hoe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Zafran Hoe managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Docklands United's Bob Scholes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bob Scholes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Golders Green's goal looked a bit too open when Basil Beadel came free, but Zafran Hoe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golders Green's Zafran Hoe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basil Beadel in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Docklands United's zone, Hafriz Choy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Inman came out of the goal and Hafriz Choy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hafriz Choy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Adam Inman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90th play minutes Hafriz Choy shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Adam Inman and just under the crossbar into goal. Alex Keng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Adam Inman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Keng got in the 97th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Adam Inman handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
