Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Prime Dryburgh put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Eastham:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Docklands United:s goal. Bob Scholes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alam Politiek having to interfere. Docklands United's Basil Beadel got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kurt Butterfield hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Nicholas Laycock took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Inman. Adam Inman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basil Beadel in the 36th minute of play forced Eastham's goalkeeper Alam Politiek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicholas Laycock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alam Dyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicholas Laycock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Adam Inman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Adam Inman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eastham. Alam Politiek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Scholes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wei Xuan Lum hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Alam Politiek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Scholes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Docklands United's goalkeeper Adam Inman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Nicholas Laycock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eastham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Laycock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Darren Low managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Eastham booed when Docklands United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronan Deakin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ong Hian was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match was over Eastham could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Docklands United throughout the match.
