Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Altrincham City's Gabriel Gopala Pillai started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Harry Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Gopala Pillai in the 4th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Gopala Pillai in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Ek saved Jurong East from getting behind. John Sum hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. John Sum charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Sum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Altrincham City booed when Jurong East was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Sum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Ek came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Altrincham City's Sean Rajah. But to his dismay, Sean Rajah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohammad Sarangapani during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Altrincham City's zone, Sébastien Chabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alif Siang came out of the goal and Sébastien Chabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shafiq Soon's late challenge caught a Jurong East's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shafiq Soon helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Altrincham City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Alif Siang, was totally fooled by Jurong East's Tan Tian, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Khairil Hian kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Shafiq Soon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Arif Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sean Rajah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sébastien Chabal got free with Alif Siang in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

In the 53rd minute, Sébastien Chabal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Gopala Pillai might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Ek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Gopala Pillai ran back to his position shaking his head. When Sébastien Chabal came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Jurong East fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sébastien Chabal couldn't finish the play. Alif Siang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Teo in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Altrincham City's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Teo came free, but Alif Siang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sean Rajah came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Altrincham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Rajah couldn't finish the play. Harry Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Gopala Pillai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hafriz Hongyi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Jurong East's goalkeeper Harry Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sean Rajah. Altrincham City's Gabriel Gopala Pillai got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
