Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tollesbury's Jithu Tuan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, one of Tollesbury:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tollesbury. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Purfleet FC. Muhammad Chan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zack Hsi. 0-1. Tollesbury's Shahiran Hian got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wei Xuan Yeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jithu Tuan in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Tollesbury's Jithu Tuan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wei Xuan Yeo. Wei Xuan Yeo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Didi Cheng hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Noh Chai notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tollesbury's Zack Hsi. Zack Hsi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhammad Chan in the 24th minute of play forced Tollesbury's goalkeeper Zack Hsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Purfleet FC's Muhammad Chan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zack Hsi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 33rdth minute of the game Muhammad Chan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tollesbury's Zack Hsi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tollesbury's goalkeeper Zack Hsi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Tollesbury booed when Purfleet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jithu Hock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tollesbury's Zack Hsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhammad Chan in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Purfleet FC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Muhammad Chan to make the kick off. Hamir Shiong hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Noh Chai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Hsi having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Shahiran Hian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Muhammad Chan took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Zack Hsi to make any attempt to save it. Wei Xuan Yeo came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tollesbury's Shahiran Hian. But to his dismay, Shahiran Hian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The supporters of Purfleet FC booed when Tollesbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anil Chai didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tollesbury's Zack Hsi got control of the ball when Muhammad Chan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Purfleet FC's Wei Xuan Yeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anil Chai in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhammad Chan in the 75th minute of play forced Tollesbury's goalkeeper Zack Hsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhammad Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Hsi having to interfere. Muhammad Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bakar Hongyi scored 3-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zack Hsi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jithu Tuan took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wei Xuan Yeo. Wei Xuan Yeo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. When the final whistle sounded Purfleet FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tollesbury.
