With a little luck, RBKD FC's Alexander Tuan got control of the ball when Alex Lee tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Southbourne's goal looked a bit too open when Afiz Soon came free, but Shahiran Kool reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shahiran Kool made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afiz Soon in the 22nd minute of play. Shahiran Kool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afiz Soon in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Lee got free with Alexander Tuan in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rifki Siong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Southbourne's Hamir Vijiaratnam got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rifki Siong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alex Lee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Tuan was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Alex Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Tuan having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Zafran Hock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southbourne and the RBKD FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Southbourne getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Zafran Hock hit a great ball. Southbourne's Shahiran Kool proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Southbourne from getting a goal against them. Southbourne's Shahiran Kool played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afiz Soon in the 79th minute of play. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Southbourne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Lee to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Southbourne booed when RBKD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. SK Shiong didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Southbourne were the better team. Southbourne's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
