John Rajah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wei Xuan Wenyong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faiz Singh having to interfere. The audience was convinced that John Rajah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faiz Singh was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Wei Xuan Wenyongs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Faiz Singh to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Tampines Rovers FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rifqi Singh hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Faris Yip was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tampines Rovers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foulsham City the free kick. In the 19th minute, one of Tampines Rovers FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tampines Rovers FC. The referee gave Foulsham City a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Shafiq Soon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tampines Rovers FC's Faiz Singh. 1-0. Wei Xuan Wenyong struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Faiz Singh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foulsham City. John Rajah kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Ee in the 28th minute of play forced Foulsham City's goalkeeper Ang Yi-Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Rajah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Didi Ee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ang Yi-Sheng having to interfere. Wei Xuan Wenyong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faiz Singh having to interfere. Tampines Rovers FC's Faiz Singh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Rajah in the 37th minute of play. Zafran Sim kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Shafiq Soon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Rajah to strike the kick off in the second half. John Rajah struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Faiz Singh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foulsham City. Wei Xuan Wenyong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faiz Singh having to interfere. Didi Ee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ang Yi-Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faiz Singh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wei Xuan Wenyong in the 65th minute of play. John Rajah scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faiz Singh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Gerard Siang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lamar Chee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ang Yi-Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faiz Singh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wei Xuan Wenyong in the 79th minute of play. Wei Xuan Wenyong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faiz Singh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tampines Rovers FC's Zafran Sim got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Tampines Rovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wei Xuan Wenyong came free, but Faiz Singh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tampines Rovers FC's Faiz Singh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Xuan Wenyong in the 85th minute of play. If Lamar Chee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
