Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Khairul Hoe started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Stamford FC's goalkeeper Zafran Lim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Azam Ramachandran. In the 9th minute, Afiz Boon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match, Azam Ramachandran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zafran Lim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 17 minutes, Khairil Tan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stamford FC and the SİNGAFOTBAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Khairil Tan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Azam Ramachandran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Zafran Lim made a huge save. When Daniel Tian fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SİNGAFOTBAL's protests and gave Daniel Tian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, one of SİNGAFOTBAL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SİNGAFOTBAL. The referee gave Stamford FC a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lee Swee, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SİNGAFOTBAL's Gara Au. 0-1. If Gage Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gara Au having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Stamford FC's Samuel Lee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gara Au narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Tan Paine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gara Au showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee Swee in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azam Ramachandran got free with Zafran Lim in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Stamford FC's Samuel Lee fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Gage Hsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Lee made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, SİNGAFOTBAL's goalkeeper Gara Au had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Lee. In the 62nd match minute, Stamford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Chong to maneuver through the defense. If Gage Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SİNGAFOTBAL's Gara Au got control of the ball when Gage Hsi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of SİNGAFOTBAL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stamford FC:s goal. Lee Swee placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 74 minutes of play, Stamford FC's Steven Chong made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gara Au was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gage Hsi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Stamford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gage Hsi couldn't finish the play. Gara Au didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Lee went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Azam Ramachandran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Stamford FC's Gage Hsi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Stamford FC played a much better game than SİNGAFOTBAL and deserved their victory. The SİNGAFOTBAL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
