Alam Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Tioe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Gage Chian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alam Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gage Chian, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gage Chian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alam Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faizal Sim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Singh in the 22nd minute. If Gage Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alam Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Tioe in the 29th minute of play. Alam Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Tioe, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Gage Chian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alam Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Tioe in the 39th minute of play forced Brentwood's goalkeeper Alam Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Albert Rajah made the kick off in the second half. Albert Rajah struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Faizal Sim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brentwood. If Ali Singh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Brentwood's goalkeeper Alam Hong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gage Chian. A collision led to Brentwood getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Shukrie Sum hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Brentwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Dhanabalan to maneuver through the defense. Albert Rajah hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Alan Tioe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Foulsham AFC booed when Brentwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shukrie Sum didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match, Gage Chian got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alam Hong was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Brentwood's Alam Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Brentwood from getting a goal against them. When Albert Rajah fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brentwood's protests and gave Albert Rajah a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Rajah kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 86 minutes Brentwood's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zak Hongyi who took care of the corner kick. If Alan Tioe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Rajah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faizal Sim having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
