Muhammad Soon might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alam Hong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Dawlish got a freekick which was hit by Arif Soon. 17 minutes into the match, Brentwood's Fariz Hui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darren Tan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dawlish's Arif Soon got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Arif Soon off the ground. Brentwood's supporters rose to their feet, but Fariz Hui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darren Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amir Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dawlish's zone, Albert Rajah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darren Tan came out of the goal and Albert Rajah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Rajah succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 60th playminute. In the 64th minute Muhammad Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alam Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Muhammad Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alam Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Soon in the 77th minute of the match. When Shahron Tian came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Brentwood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shahron Tian couldn't finish the play. After having played for 92 minutes, Fariz Hui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brentwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fariz Hui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brentwood's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
