Ali Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Finsbury Park's Shahiran Ning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Ramachandran in the 16th minute of play. Shahiran Ning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Choo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ali Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dale Choo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahiran Ning having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Dale Choo made a precise shot to the right of Shahiran Ning. Finsbury Park's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Joel Kang fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hockley's protests and gave Joel Kang a yellow card for diving instead. When Finsbury Park's Alam Chee in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hockley's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Finsbury Park getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Prime Low hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alam Chee made a kick off. Shahiran Ning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Peng in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Haziq Devan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Laycock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Prime Low notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hockley's Ryan Laycock. Ryan Laycock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ali Peng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahiran Ning having to interfere. Dale Choo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shahiran Ning. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Choo ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Dale Choo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Shahiran Ning. That made the score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alam Chee in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryan Laycock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Ramachandran kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Haziq Devan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alam Chee in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryan Laycock prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
