Steven Nair was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the game, Albert Low cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finsbury Park's goalkeeper Shahiran Ning, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Padstow AFC's Albert Low nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alan Seng's late challenge caught a Finsbury Park's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Seng helped the player get up and apologised. Padstow AFC's Steven Nair proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Padstow AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Alam Chee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steven Nair was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

In the 56th minute of the match Padstow AFC got a corner. Finsbury Park's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Khai Nair ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 58 minutes Finsbury Park's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Khai Nair who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Khai Nair got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Shahiran Ning quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Padstow AFC's Steven Nair played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alam Chee in the 59th minute of play. In the 87th minute Alan Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahiran Ning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Albert Low dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Shahiran Ning, 6-3. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Finsbury Park fully deserved thier win.
