Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Shafiq Hoe started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Rothwell United's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Cheng came free, but Fariz Tan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fariz Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Cheng in the 13th minute of the match. Shafiq Hoe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Shafiq Hoe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bayer Munich booed when Rothwell United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khai Lee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes Rothwell United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Danial Dhanabalan who took care of the corner kick. Bayer Munich's Shafiq Hoe got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shafiq Hoe in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fariz Tan saved Rothwell United from getting behind. After 29 minutes of play, Bayer Munich's Joel Cheng made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fariz Tan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Afriz Boon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fariz Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rothwell United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bayer Munich were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Chandran to strike the kick off in the second half. Bayer Munich's Shafiq Hoe got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shafiq Hoe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fariz Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayer Munich's goalkeeper Danish Dryburgh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Khairil Dryburgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fariz Tan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Joel Cheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fariz Tan having to interfere. Fariz Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shafiq Hoe in the 85th minute of the match. The Rothwell United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bayer Munich's performance. The match ended with a win for Bayer Munich.
