The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Liverpool FCT. Bakar Hock went to the wrong direction when Shahiran Chong was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Nicholas Chian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bakar Hock having to interfere. Nicholas Chian struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bakar Hock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wrea Green. Clive Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liverpool FCT's Bakar Hock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Chian in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wrea Green's goalkeeper Bakar Tuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Sarangapani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bakar Tuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Chongs short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Bakar Tuan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 43rd match minute, Wrea Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anil Ee to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Anil Ee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liverpool FCT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ron Abisheganaden in the 49th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Joel Chong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Nicholas Chian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakar Hock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wrea Green booed when Liverpool FCT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Sarangapani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Wrea Green's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Chong came free, but Bakar Tuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clive Chian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Bakar Hock made a huge save. If Joel Sarangapani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clive Chian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bakar Hock having to make a save. Alam Keng hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. Wrea Green's Shahiran Chong shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 101st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bakar Hock but with some difficulty. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
