After a defensive mix-up in Walthamstow's zone, Mark Hsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clive Au came out of the goal and Mark Hsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Tee hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes, Faiz Soon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walthamstow and the Kilburn, Westbourne Park FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ali Laycock charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Laycock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Tan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Lamar Seng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ali Laycock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilburn, Westbourne Park FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Laycock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clive Au breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Dhanabalan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lamar Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Dhanabalan in the 47th minute of play forced Kilburn, Westbourne Park FC's goalkeeper Lamar Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Clive Au showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Dryburgh in the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Walthamstow's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Dryburgh came free, but Clive Au reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kilburn, Westbourne Park FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ong Low hit a great ball. Kilburn, Westbourne Park FC's Lamar Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Dhanabalan in the 73rd minute of play. Prime Tan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Joel Tee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Walthamstow's goalkeeper Clive Au had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Dryburgh. Kilburn, Westbourne Park FC's Ong Low got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Gabriel Dryburgh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilburn, Westbourne Park FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Dryburgh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Dryburgh struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Clive Au didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilburn, Westbourne Park FC. Walthamstow succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Kilburn, Westbourne Park FC had controlled the match.
