The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Whickham City's Azly Chien-Kwan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zack Tan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 3 minutes, Gerard Chian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nailsworth AFC and the Whickham City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nailsworth AFC's Gerard Chian got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Amir Abisheganaden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Tan having to interfere. Joel Siong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronn Chew in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Whickham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khairil Hsin to maneuver through the defense. Joel Siong was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ronn Chew. Jerry Braddell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Siong having to interfere. When Ronn Chew fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nailsworth AFC's protests and gave Ronn Chew a yellow card for diving instead. Haziq Keng hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Whickham City's Joel Siong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haziq Keng in the 34th minute of play. Azly Chien-Kwan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zack Tan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Joel Siong made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jerry Braddell sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 55 played minutes Whickham City got a freekick which was hit by Sajeev Hian. In the 59thth minute of the game Amir Abisheganaden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nailsworth AFC's Zack Tan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Azly Chien-Kwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Tan having to interfere. Amir Abisheganaden received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zack Tan came out and tried to block the shot, but Amir Abisheganaden slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 61st minute. Haziq Keng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Joel Siong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Whickham City fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Whickham City's Amir Abisheganaden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Shukrie Lee's late challenge caught a Whickham City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shukrie Lee helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Shukrie Lee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match, Azly Chien-Kwan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zack Tan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 77th minute, Haziq Keng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Whickham City getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ali Low hit a great ball. Zack Tan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Whickham City's Amir Abisheganaden shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice moves Azly Chien-Kwan could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Zack Tan however easily saved by the left post. When Amir Abisheganaden in the 89th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Zack Tan kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-6 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After having played for 94 minutes, Haziq Keng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nailsworth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haziq Keng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Nailsworth AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Whickham City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
