In the 13th minute, Shahron Seng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lee Boon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dale Yeo in the 14th minute. Ang Kool kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Albert Laycock got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Lee Boon handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lion defense, Dale Yeo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lee Boon. The Lion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lee Boon should have stopped the shot. Azly Nair kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lion's goalkeeper Lee Boon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Albert Laycock put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lee Boon. Lee Boon made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Dale Yeo sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albert Laycock to make the kick off. Victor Wah's late challenge caught a Lion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Wah helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fulbourn's Victor Wah got a free kick in the 51st minute. Dale Yeo might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lee Boon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Yeo ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Yeo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lee Boon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Dale Yeo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Lion's Lee Boon. Lee Boon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Albert Laycock sped through Lion's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lee Boon. Lee Boon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Laycock went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Azly Nair's late challenge caught a Fulbourn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azly Nair helped the player get up and apologised. Azly Nair hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Lion's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Yeo came free, but Lee Boon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Laycock might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lee Boon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Laycock ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute Dale Yeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Boon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Laycock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Lee Boon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dale Yeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lee Boon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Laycock in the 94th minute of the match. When Fulbourn's Dale Yeo in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lion's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fulbourn fully deserved thier win.
