With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Pillai in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ang Gopala Pillai saved Doe Bamar from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Alex Pillai made a precise shot to the right of Ang Gopala Pillai. Doe Bamar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sajeev Koh might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ang Gopala Pillai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sajeev Koh ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noh Nagasaki in the 15th minute of play forced Doe Bamar's goalkeeper Ang Gopala Pillai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Alex Pillai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doe Bamar's Ang Gopala Pillai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Noh Nagasaki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doe Bamar's Ang Gopala Pillai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moussy Pirates's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Amirul Cho scored to the left of an out of position SK Siong, making the score, 1-1. After having played for 28 minutes, Alex Pillai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moussy Pirates's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Pillai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute of the match Khai Tian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ang Gopala Pillai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alex Pillai struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ang Gopala Pillai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moussy Pirates. In the 38th match minute, Doe Bamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Seng to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Doe Bamar getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bineesh Leng hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Pillai to make the kick off. The supporters of Moussy Pirates booed when Doe Bamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Moussy Pirates's Alex Pillai slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ang Gopala Pillai. That made the score 1-2 after 57 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sharizan Devan during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Doe Bamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sharizan Devan to maneuver through the defense. If Noh Nagasaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Moussy Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Gara Au came free, but SK Siong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SK Siong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Seng went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the match, Doe Bamar's goalkeeper Ang Gopala Pillai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamir Seng. If Alex Pillai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noh Nagasaki got free with Ang Gopala Pillai in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
