Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Danish Peng started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Faiz Teo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Merlin Teo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute Danish Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jithu Henderson in the 13th minute of play forced Archway's goalkeeper Merlin Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faiz Teo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Merlin Teo. Merlin Teo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Archway's Merlin Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noh Lim in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Archway got a freekick which was hit by Mark Soon. Amir Seng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alan Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Danish Peng made a precise shot to the right of Merlin Teo. Archway's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Adam Shyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Minas United got a freekick which was hit by Faiz Teo. Archway's Adam Nagasaki got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Minas United's Alan Gopala Pillai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Minas United from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Nagasaki made a kick off. Archway's Adam Nagasaki got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shah Paine charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shah Paine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shah Paine kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Merlin Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danish Peng in the 61st minute of play. Adam Nagasaki struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alan Gopala Pillai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Archway. When Adam Nagasaki came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Archway fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Nagasaki couldn't finish the play. Merlin Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danish Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Minas United booed when Archway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firdauz Ching didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, one of Archway:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Minas United getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Faiz Teo hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Adam Nagasaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Shyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Alan Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Minas United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
