Mark Osbourn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shahron Singh in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shahron Singh in the 20th minute of play forced Chadderton United's goalkeeper Mark Osbourn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, David Kvick notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Spaxton's Amirul Shyan. Amirul Shyan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Spaxton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Chadderton United's Jools Sherwood got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Amirul Shyan. In the 41st minute, Gage Braddell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spaxton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Shahron Singh made the kick off in the second half. Amirul Shyan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Clive Shiong fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spaxton's protests and gave Clive Shiong a yellow card for diving instead. Clive Shiong kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Rueben Appleton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Amirul Shyan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gage Braddell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Mark Osbourn made a huge save. The supporters of Chadderton United booed when Spaxton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sajeev Chian didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Chadderton United's Jools Sherwood broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Alam Tan fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spaxton's protests and gave Alam Tan a yellow card for diving instead. If Shahron Singh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Chadderton United's goal looked a bit too open when Shahron Singh came free, but Mark Osbourn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chadderton United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Spaxton for a fine match.
